WrestlemaniaXXXIV: John Cena Finally Challenges Undertaker And “The Deadman” Responds

The rumors have circled around the WWE Universe for months, superstars have teased the match up and fans have created several memes. After a while, it appeared like the sough-after match-up between John Cena and The Undertaker would not happen. It has however now begins to look like a reality.

Last night on Monday night Raw, The Leader of the Cenation after claiming he was going to Wrestlemania as a fan, changed his mind and called out “The Phenom”. Cena has been struggling to book a match at “The biggest pay-per-view event in wrestling” for weeks, failed to win the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Sunday’s Fastlane Six-Pack Challenge.

The Champ after giving up on the idea, grabbed the mic and discussed The Undertaker. Cena called The Undertaker “fragile” and a “self-centred conceded egomaniac” then continued to say “I challenge The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania.

He added, “I was told this was impossible, even though the fan in me wants to see this. I was told this is impossible and I just accepted it.”

He also said, “You are not too old, you are not washed up, you are not broken down cause if you were broken down you wouldn’t be posting work-out videos on your wife’s Instagram. The only person stopping this match from happening is you, you self-centred conceded egomaniac.”
“So Undertaker, at WrestleMania this year I’m either going as a fan or I’m going as your opponent which will be history. The ball is in your court Deadman. Time to see if you are still alive.”

“If I was you I know what I would do, I would want one more match.”

Unfortunately for Cena, Taker the greatest athlete in the history of the sport, responded this morning with a series of tweets via twitter.

Taker appeared to have retired last year at Wrestlemania XXXIII after he lost to Roman Reigns, the 22-2 Mania record holder then placed his signature jacket, gloves and hat in the middle of the ring before saluting the WWE Universe.

However, updates his wife and former WWE star Michele McCool instagram account last month suggested The Deadman has been preparing for a final Mania show down. The Undertaker and 13 time WWE Champion John Cena, have never faced each other.

If the stories stories are as true as they appear, we are will witness an epic showdown come April 8.
