The governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has scored another low, as he makes another violence-inciting statement. The governor, who spoke in Hausa allegedly told his supporters to cut the hair and beards of Senators Shehu Sani, and Suleiman Hunkuyi. He also asked that they undress them anytime they see them.
Disappointed that a serving governor, especially one close to the President, well-educated, and once touted to become president when the health of President Muammadu Buhari was failing, Nigerians on Twitter have expressed their disbelieve that he could say such.
El-Rufai is however not new to making such statements, as he did in 2012. He is also currently being sued by Senator Shehu Sani for making libelous comments, while he recently pulled down the house of Senator Hunkuyi.
