Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, the founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, has accused popular Anambra controversial prophet, Chukwuemeka Odumeje (Liquid Metal), the General Overseer Of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention of patronizing ungodly acts in the house of God.
He, therefore, warned Christians against false prophets and pastors in the country.
Ashimolowo, in a live video with Pastor Poju Oyemade on his Instagram page on Wednesday, warned genuine lovers of God, against greedy and fake miracle-performing men of God.
Odumeje’s church members had been seen on social media, spraying money on their pastor who prides himself ‘The Lion.’
Ashimolowo said, “The church in Nigeria needs to be very careful, especially the young men and women carrying the fire.
“They need to let the nation know they are not stupid people. We now have charlatans in the land who’ll be claiming the miraculous and they are just liars, faking it because the nation wants to see the supernatural.
“The young people born in the fire of genuine revival need to be careful because of all these guys who are just fakers of miracles, who their god is their belly.
“I am sure you must have heard of the lady who they were passing to one another; dramatizing her arm because the nation wants to see the supernatural, they want to see the miraculous.
“They become the ones that distract. They have one in Anambra, people throw money at him. You will be wondering if that is a church, It’s unbelievable.”
