Lagos govt confirms fresh 43 new COVID-19 cases as state toll hits 746

The Lagos State government has confirmed 43 new COVID-19 cases in the state.
The government said the latest cases now bring the total tally in the state to 746.
In a tweet on its verified Twitter handle, the state government said a total number of 15 patients were transferred out of the state.
“#COVID19Lagos Update as at April 26, 2020.
“43 new cases of #COVID19 Infection confirmed.
“Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 746
“One confirmed COVID-19 Lagos patient was transferred to Ondo State. Total transferred now 15.”
Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, had confirmed 43 fresh COVID-19 cases in Lagos State.
This was part of the 91 new cases confirmed across the country.
According to NCDC, the new confirmed cases now brings Nigeria’s tally to 1,283.
