Lagos Govt confirms 23 news cases as toll hits 309

The Lagos State Government has confirmed twenty three new Coronavirus cases in the state.
Prof. Akin Abayomi, the State Commissioner for Health made this known via his Twitter page on Sunday.
With the development the State now has 309
COVID-19 cases.
He said “23 new #COVID19 cases confirmed in Lagos State.
“The total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases in Lagos is now 309.
“4 COVID19 patients were discharged as at 18th of April bringing the total discharged cases to [email protected]”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on a Saturday confirmed 49 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
The new cases were identified in Lagos, FCT, Kano, Ogun, Oyo, and Ekiti States.
Nigeria’s tally now stands at 542.
