Chelsea are keeping an eye on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract situation at Arsenal, with a view to making a move this summer, ESPN reports.
Blues boss, Frank Lampard, will be in the market for a striker ahead of next season.
Lampard also has Lyon forward Moussa Dembele and Leipzig’s Timo Werner on his shortlist.
However, Aubameyang is emerging as a serious alternative, as talks continue to stall over a fresh deal at Emirates Stadium.
The Gabon international will have one left on his current deal by June 2020.
Arsenal have adopted a policy of aiming to sell players with 12 months left on their deals who refuse to commit.
It remains to be seen if the Gunners will do business with their fierce London rivals for Aubameyang
