Italian Serie A champions, Juventus, has announced the result of midfielder Blaise Matuidi, and defender Daniele Rugani’s second Coronavirus (COVID-19) tests.
Juventus, in a statement on its official website on Wednesday, disclosed that the follow-up tests returned negative.
“Rugani and Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double-check with diagnostic tests for the coronavirus,” the club’s statement read.
“The tests came back with negative results.
“The players have, therefore, recovered and are no longer subjected to the home isolation regime.”
DAILY POST recalls that both Matuidi and Rugani had tested positive for the virus last month.
