The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede has resumed duty.
This followed his recovery from coronavirus.
Babandede is believed to have contracted the virus during a trip to the UK in March.
NIS Public Relations Officer, Sunday James, said Babandede appreciates the level of compliance on flight restrictions, closure of land borders and seaports ordered by the federal government.
The spokesman recalled that the CG “during the break received briefs online”.
On Monday, Nigeria Immigration extended its 2020 recruitment deadline.
Nigerians have been criticising the service for querying three female staff that participated in a video challenge.
The query accused them of “flaunting of your bodies, desecration of Service uniform/beret and the use of inappropriate language thereby, sabotaging the values upheld by the service”.
NIS is expected to take a decision soon but has stated that punishment for the offense is dismissal.
