Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed that the health agency has established that there is community transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) in FCT, Lagos and Kano States.

Ihekweazu stated this while speaking on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics.

According to him, “We have established that there is community transmission in Lagos, FCT, and Kano.

“The economic activities are linked to livelihood, which is linked to lives.

“Every new directive to do things is always difficult at the beginning.

“I am confident we will get to where we want to be.
