Coronavirus: El-Rufai debunks rumours of admission in ICU

Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has denied reports making the rounds that he has been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital

Reports emerged on social media on Monday that the governor who tested positive to Coronavirus was in isolation after allegedly developing complications.

However, the Chief of Staff to the governor, Muh’d Sani Dattijo in a post described the report as false.

He disclosed that El-Rufai is working from the isolation centre and not admitted in any ICU.

Alongside a picture of himself and El-Rufai live chatting, he wrote: “Mallam Nasir el-Rufai at 2:06pm, Monday 20 April. Alive and Well. Working from isolation.

“ To all the folks tweeting about him in ICU, you shall see it before he does inshaAllah.”
