Coronavirus: Ekiti discharges COVID-19 patient

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, on Thursday announced that the State’s second Coronavirus patient has been discharged.
Fayemi, who is also Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), made this known on his official Twitter page.
He said that the patient was discharged after testing negative for the second time.
“Our second COVID-19 patient tested negative the second time and was discharged from our Infectious Disease Hospital today.
“While thanking our team for a job well done, the job is not finished. #StayHomeSaveLives. JKF,” Fayemi tweeted.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria is 288, according to the NCDC.
