Akeredolu: You can't make money from Coronavirus - Giwa blasts Afenifere

The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa on Friday called on Christians Association of Nigeria, CAN, and religious leaders to wake up from their slumber and save Nigeria.

In a statement sent to DAILY POST, Giwa said it was a pity that the body of Christ had been “deceived by some selfish politicians who want to waste people’s lives prematurely.”

Giwa said the current situation had gone beyond any religious leader displaying pictures or videos to show Nigerians that “he is praying on the mountain or in his bedroom”

He said all hands must be on deck to speak out against the agents of the devil.

According to Giwa: “Just as Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church in Rome when the love of many was growing cold, I am calling on CAN and other religious leaders to wake up from their slumber and save the body of Christ.

“Of course we are all praying to God, but prayer without action is useless. Jacob took action to wrestle with God in Genesis 32:22-32 and his name was changed to Israel.

“Some of those you see as foremost religious leaders are disappointing Nigerians by keeping quiet on burning issues just because they have interests in one political party or the other.

“God will hold us accountable on the judgment day. Your money will perish, all your possessions will be forgotten and it will remain your relationship with God and humanity.

“Can you see the satanic bill Gbajabiamila and his few men are introducing to Nigerians? Why is it that the APC government does not consider the plight of Nigerians?

“The church is not feeding me, you can make inquiries about how I instructed the church leaders to be sharing tithes and offerings among the widows and the poor.

“When I cried out weeks ago that the church of God should be reopened, I knew what was coming.

“The first mission was to weaken the house of God which they have achieved by shutting it down.
