BREAKING: Ex-Kano Attorney-General, Umar is dead

Former Kano State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Aliyu Umar, SAN, is dead.

According to the Nation, Umar reportedly passed on in the early hours of Friday.

He died after a brief illness.

The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Late Aliyu Umar was described as one of the best criminal law experts in Nigeria.
